Honestly, I'm not worried... MS is smart, all they did was give me a reason to buy Xbox 2. For now I'm fine with Halo 2 (and 3?).

At least MS has a great FPS to make up for PD's absence, unlike Nintendo.

Also, I just wanted to point our that PD:0 being released in 2006 is crazy... we are talking about a game that already has had 3 years of development under it's belt, and now getting another 3 years on it... This has to be the longest development cycle in the history of video games.

I think it would be a VERY safe bet that PD:0 will be one of the best and deepest FPSs of all time.

Why do I have the feeling that if Rare was still backing Nintendo and it was still going to take 6 years to finish PD:0, instead of saying it is going to be an incredibly deep and good FPS, you would be mocking them for taking so long?

Eh, just a thought.

Instead of getting into one of these "If this happened then you would be saying this" debates, how about we actually see if Crash's post is even legit. And right now all signs point to no.

I'm glad I wasn't one of the people who jumped to buy an Xbox after Rare moved. People who bought an Xbox just because they heard Rare moved are "interesting" to me. The reason I didn't buy an Xbox yet was because I have yet to see a Rare game come out. If a Rare game is good enough to warrant a purchase from me, I will do it. But buying one now is stupid to me.

And on the subject of Rare possibly waiting until 2006 or later. Oh well. Maybe that will give PD:0 more time to get ebtter. Even though its Rare's thing to do, they can't mess it up. Hell, if all they did was remake PD and give it better graphics, better multi, online play, and some more new things here and there, I would buy it. I hope Rare at least does something like that and includes it with PD:0.

on a lighter note. I wish Nintendo would spend 4-6 years on a Zelda game and not 2.

I'm sorry, but how nintendo fans are blowing this out of proportion smacks of a desperate attempt to take a shot at the XBox while the Gamecube continues to flounder and Nintendo continues to struggle to stay a viable console company. I'm saying this and I OWN a Gamecube.

But I'm not... Perfect Dark still sits atop my list of favorite games of all time. Not that I could make such a list, but I'm sure it would be top 3... along side Zelda OoT and WWF No Mercy.

Perfect Dark 0 is in a tie for my #1 most anticipated game coming this generation (if it comes)... I've been saying it sense before Ps2 was even released... cept back then there was no tie. (there also was no Halo)

Wow... I bought Rare for Xbox, but I get this bull****? So there isn't even a Banjo game on Xbox yet, but 2 for the GBA already. No PD. Conker, but a remade port and an FPS. The only things they have are the Conker and Kameo. They better not mess them up.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to convince yourself that it was a good move by nintendo and that you never actually loved them.

Big F'in deal, we still get Halo 2 in 04. Besides, it's rareware, it's not like they actually release games in a timely matter.
