Re: Xbox Live Jump In Night (6/2)
Did anyone catch the friend of the host's rant during the post-game chat? He claimed they "owned us" and were "really good" at support classes. If memory serves me right I dominated their entire team for nearly half the game and had more points than any of them. Hmm...
and yeah, the fact the Demoman couldn't even been used (minus the futile attempts of some guy on the blue team) was a major letdown.

Depends on the day of the week.
Almost had to quit this game due to bedtime.
And when I joined the game
1)Didn't know which color you two were.
2)Red had 3, blue had 4. Aren't allowed to join with more on one team.

I hardly paid attention to my team, but thought they were only talking about the final leg of the match where 3/4th of the team was a support class. Other than myself who I think was a soldier. Or maybe I was a sniper. Not really sure.
And to be fair you were dominating because of your damn turrets.

I think in the future when one of us is the last to join a game we can message that person with what color team they should join.

Re: Xbox Live Jump In Night (6/2)
Ok, I may buy a new 360 game, and even though it hasn't happened yet, I want to at least have a chance to play with you people. Which would be the best - CoD4, GTAIV or Orange Box? I really want CoD4, and even though TOB is great value, I can't play Half-Life games as they make me dizzy.
The purchase isn't definite, I might not buy it at all. But there's a chance that I might, so I'm asking for opinions. And which game is played more often?

Are you sure that's not just on the PC? I assume the framerate is high and stable on the 360...
The HL2 demo made me dizzy, but that was on my old PC. HL2 runs great on my new one and I don't get dizzy.

Re: Xbox Live Jump In Night (6/2)
CoD4 id say is almost like a 360 counter strike. In terms of you need skill and that there are a lot of jerks there. TF2 is fun as hell and portal was amazing. GTA iv has provided me with over 100 hours of entertainment and the multiplayer is fun, but we moslty do free mode to play around. Though i suppose we could do missions. Also a lot of jerks too.

Re: Xbox Live Jump In Night (6/2)
Basically, if you don't know the person you're playing with on Xbox Live, they have a 75% probability of being a jerk.

No, it's not because of the framerate. It runs very smooth on my PC, and on my laptop. And I played the 360 demo. All were the same. I get motion sickness from the fast movements and bobbing view. Just as I do with any Turok game.
BTW, I was getting very excited about buying CoD4, but then I remembered that I've been meaning to buy the Scrubs Season 6 DVD set, and decided to spend what little money I have left on that.
Man, I'm so strapped for cash right now.. I don't think buying an iPod was such a smart move..

If you want CoD4 just get that. Everyone has it minus me, and I might get it soon.

Re: Xbox Live Jump In Night (6/2)
I prefer TF 2 it is less "hardcore" where as CoD 4 forces you to get good or get shutdown.
I would say either is fine really.
GTA IV is fun but we usually play that to dick around. Not any particular mode.
