1 v 1 are terrible. Mostly camping...... Hardcore team death match and hardcore search and destroy. No HUD, no RADAR, no grenade indications, no ammo meter. Bare bones just you and the iron sights. Beautiful.

I've heard this before, I'm not good enough, or play enough of COD4 to worry about 1 vs. 1 matches but my little brother played one once and he said that his opponent just camped the whole match with claymores surrounding his area. Sounds very fun

Yeah. Ive had some great moments. Too bad there are no replay saves.

I know! Every game needs to have theater modes like Halo 3 has where I can save footage. I pray that Gears 2 has it, but I've gotten some nasty shots in COD4 before that leave me wanting a film saver, especially last night when I got an awesome shot.

Gears of War lends itself to one-on-one. Many games' maps are too large to make it worthwhile. F.E.A.R. had a few good ones.
