Re: How are your grades so far?
I think normal kids should give the graduation speeches because they better represent their class wheras the strange 4.0+ kids who "compete" for the role are outcasts ostracized by the fellow peers for being so obsessed with school.

I know. I think there are 6 this year, and I believe there were 8 or 9 last year.

That's different. I'm in grade 12 also but we take as many as 7 classes (max) or as little as 5 classes (min). And we take all the classes all year. We don't take a certain number of them one semester and then do a new batch the second semester. But in grades 9, 10, and 11 we take seven classes.
I'm only doing 6 this year. I get out of school at 2:10! It feels like elementary school again! Yippee skippy!

It's part of bible studies, so this is basically "old testament". Next semester is "new testament"

Re: How are your grades so far?
I dunno about you stu but in my school its not that hard to get good grades...
I know kids with averages in the 95+ range. I dont see why not either... if you can get perfect on every math test and quiz and are a good student in class and go to every class i dont see why not give the 100 ...

math is different...much less subjective. I got a 94 in math last year...it's the other subjects where the teacher has to grade the student...

Re: How are your grades so far?
I loved how in the past couple of years, technically a high school student in Ontario could not fail. THis was because level 1 waws 50-59%.... There was not a Level for failing, lol. They changed that now, though.
