I think the reputation system here is too much for a lot of people here to handle. Especially a reputation system without accountability (yes, I'm agreeing with GameMaster here). Besides, we all know who has a good reputation here and who doesn't. I don't need to look at the number of little green rectangles under TheGame's name to know what kind of post to expect from him.
But hey, if people are going to get their jollies from pips, who am I to stop them? People getting pips for giving jollies is kind of silly, but young people will be young people.
