Nintendo is betting the farm?
For years I've wanted them to take much bigger risks, but throwing the word 'budget' out the window is damn-near insanity. Unless there are a few misinformed parties involved in this whole situation.
Nintendo has the talent, they have the money, they have the experience of being the top dog for a long time in different markets. The things that are holding them back, in my mind:
-conservative attitude
-stubbornness
-poor marketing and PR
As well as a poor understanding for modern concepts.
This news is hopefully one of many steps forward for Nintendo. The potential is still there, and it's why I remain open-minded despite what anyone else says.
