Linux literate people...In here please???

Okay guys, I just installed Mandrake 9.0 on my computer, and I'm a newbie to Linux. I use it at school, but the ones at school are mostly all command based. Right now, my linux system boots up into KDE but I want it to boot up into Gnome instead, how do I change it so that it boots into Gnome as default? I seem to like Gnome better than KDE. I just need linux to do most of my homework so I decided to install it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
