Namco has reportedly cemented plans to release its handheld RPG Tales of the World for the GameBoy Advance. Specifically, the game has been scheduled for release on October 25 in Japan, and is expected to retail for 4800 yen. As previous reported, the game will utilize a magical costume system. Thereby, characters can unleash special attacks depending upon the clothes and armor they're wearing. More than 150 different types of clothing will be included in the finished version. The game's story will be set in the land of Regunia, and will focus on a young protagonist named Furio. Upon learning of a crisis threatening the world, Furio and his friends must battle a horde of evil monsters. According to Namco representatives, the game's story will vary depending upon what missions the player chooses to accept from local townspeople.
