Deus Ex managed to blur the lines of more than a few genres very suddenly in 2000. With clever and surprisingly new ideas added to the mix, it went on to win many accolades (including our own Game of the Year award) for its view of the future and open gameplay style. It's no surprise that after selling fairly well and receiving such a greeting from the gaming community that we should hear a sequel was on the way. We've been chomping at the bit ever since we first learned that Deus Ex 2, officially known as DX2: Invisible War was on the way. So imagine our excitement when we were given the fantastic opportunity to take a trip out to Ion Storm Austin to snoop around the studio and talk to Warren Spector, Harvey Smith, Bill Money and Paul Tozer behind what will undoubtedly be one of the huge games of next year.
