Ok this concerns Snooker, so I doubt anyone will read it but what the heck.

In the final of the Embassy World Snooker Championships, 7 times world champion Steve Hendry was up against Peter Ebdon. The winner of the tournament, whoever fared best out of 35 frames of snooker.

It eventually turned out that the two players were tied at 17 frames each. Everything was riding on the one last crucial frame, the 35th frame. It looked as though Ebdon had it in the bag but his nerves got the better of him and Hendry took to the table... only to go and fowl and pot the white. Peter Ebdon took to the table again, potted lots of skillful shots and the 7 times world champion conceded defeat. Peter Ebdon won.

1st Prize: £250,000 + Championship Title + Trophey.
2nd Prize: £152,000.
