I've been giving this some thought, and I have to say I still I would be more worried about a Zombie Apocalypse than a robot one. I think you might have a greater chance of survival in the short term if zombies took over, but eventually the zombies would weigh you down killing the remaining humans off...one by one.
There's something very cerebral and heavy about zombies...something about inevitable, impending doom....it just resonates with the human experience. That's probably why it is my favorite horror genre.
