So it seems my Rock Band kick pedal is unresponsive

I purchased Rock Band 1 a while ago and I went to play the drums and the kick pedal is unresponsive. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, unplugging the drums all together and nothing is working. It was working when I bought it and and up until about 2 months ago when i played it last.

it doesnt seem they they will replace it either because im outside the 60 day period. Im really pissed.

This is on the 360 by the way.
