I just sent the link to the place IGN got it from cuz... I closed the browser that had the IGN story about it and it basically said the same thing...

I hope it stays true to the game (err, either game... or if it's a whole new story set in Silent Hill, it better be LIKE the game... Meaning a lot of darkness, disturbing images, and NOT A BUNCH OF CRAZY ACTION like they made RE into) and everything goes nice and good... Cuz in the last videogame movie story thing (actually it might have just been an RE movie topic) I listed Silent Hill as one of the games I think could have the most potential as a movie if they did it right... and it could be a really good thing for the horror genre since it has been stinkin' lately... Who here has seen the preview for Jason X? "I AM SUPER JASON GRAAAR I WILL EATS J00!"
