I assume this happened recently (within the last few hours) which puts you at a fairly late hour...Cops are pretty much under the assumption that anyone driving around late on a Friday night is drunk. They'll pull you over for whatever reason they can muster up. Once the cop saw that you were just an innocent teen, he realized it was unnecessary to give you a ticket.

I've been in similar situations, and I've just been relieved to get out of there without a ticket.

Well, yeah, it was late, so I guess I might understand. But the guy acted really oddly too. He really didn't have much of a valid reason to pull me over in my opinion. Anyway, I guess it's no big deal, I was just pissed off.
