So I went to
Night of the Proms last weekend in Belgium.
They had Joe Cocker and James Brown. Oh yeah, and Shaggy
and a mistery guest that nobody knew.
But OH MAN!!! JAMES BROWN ALIVE AND KICKING!!! :eek:
That guy is 71 years old, but he's still so energenic!!!
He's jumping, dancing, shouting and got the whole audience wild!!! He sang "Living in America", "I Feel Good" and "Like A Sex Machine" (and perhaps another one?
).
Joe Cocker was also really good, he has a brilliant voice! He also sang U2s "One", so pretty!
Shaggy was nice, but I don't really like his style....
They also played excellent classic music. Damn good. They played the Star Wars theme!
The interaction with the public is fabulous, they played games with us, made us shout/sing funny stuff...
So, do you know any old artists who are still performing?? I've heard that The Pointer Sisters are REALLY good.
Seriously, they got everybody down!
