Saw this movie Saturday. I liked it but maybe that's because I'm a sci-fi goer. I admit, the creators lose focus of the book they are supposed to be portraying and get carried away when they travel 800,000 years into the future. Kinda like
The Mummy Returns . Has great potential but it goes in the wrong hands. You think for being created by the grandson of H.G. Wells it would have been a little "closer to home." Oh well. Go see it.

Plot becomes far-fetched and loses focus. The smart, gentle professor loses his intelligence and begins fighting monsters with unexpected skill. It's still entertaining.
