Arguable (Ps2 Madden greater, but Madden online on Ps2 vs ESPN NFL on Xbox I'd say arguable leaning toward ESPN because Xbox live is just better )

All I know is you won't find ESPN NFL football on a top 25 (or less) games of the year lists, and you won't see it winning any awards... Not a bad football game, but it hasn't reached Madden's level yet.
