Summer RPGs
Once again we have pretty much nothing in terms of RPGs for the summer.
There's Unlimited Saga (or, Unlimited Crap, if you prefer). As well, Arc the Lad: Some Sort of Subtitle is out, I heard it was fairly good, I may rent it.
Right now I'm playing Dark Cloud 2 All hail the mighty DC2! Awesome game, I love it, it's a thousand times improved over DC1, and I really liked DC1.
So, what RPGs are you guys playing this summer? Gonna bust out the old PSX classics for some nostalgia? Maybe there's a good RPG you havent picked up yet and you're gonna try it out now? Share your thoughts...

Re: Summer RPGs
If you say DC2 is as good as you say, I might give it a try. DC was a piece of ****, in my opinion. Right now, I'm playing Shadow Hearts. This game is alright. It's under rated in my opinion. After that, I don't know what RPG I might play next.. Probably FF7.

I'm currently going through the Final Fantasy games. So far I've done IX, X, I, and VII in that order. Working on VI now...
I've also just bought Legend of Mana so I'll be spending some time on that too. And when I'm able to find Final Fantasy Chronicles, I plan to play the Chrono games as well.
Pretty much most of my time this summer is being spent on RPGs...

Well, I'm busting out Morrowind along with the expansion packs this summer. I guess I'll keep whacking away at NWN and it's expansion pack. I want to play Star Wars: Knights of hte Old Republic soooo bad, but I have to wait until the PC version comes out this fall (or later).

Re: Summer RPGs
I'm going to be playing FFVII and if there is time IX... I own both right now, just can't devote my time to another FF game while going to school.

Well since I have been banned from playing video games in my house ever again (don't ask), I have taken it upon myself to start getting botlegs of such RPGs that I have never played before, or have been damaged byond the point of no return. Some of these include Final Fantasy Origins (which IMO is probably the best FF remake collection yet), Vagrant Story (a little difficult on the PC keyboard but I might just be able to get a PSX to USB connector), Legend of Mana, Wild Arms (still working on the second one), Chrono Cross, (which was trashed by BLueFire and I am still mad at him for it ), RPG Maker (which is a little time consuming), Valkyrie Profile (still working on it), Star Ocean 2, and Dragon Warrior 7 just to name a few.
I'll quite the busy one this summer

I've never had any experience with Dark Cloud before. From what BLueFire told me it was pretty bad. I'll look into it.

BF has only played DC1, he needs to learn to recognize the power of DC2.

Re: Summer RPGs
well...mostly i play RPGs...here are the RPGs i've beaten in the past couple of months:
1. FFVIII
2. Fallout
3. Fallout 2
4. Baldur's Gate II
5. NeverWinter Nights
i think it was in that order...now im playing FFVII...during the summer i want to get a PS2...rent or something, maybe buy if i have money...and play FFX...gotta beat that game...
as for DC1 & 2...i liked 1...i played 2 a little in the begining, and i didn't like it as much...but i've played it for like 10 min only ...but if its anything like the first one i prolly would've liked it...
im also playing Skies of Arcadia on DC ...good game...but gets really annoying cause there are too many random encounters, but besides that, it's good...
hmm...i think thats about all i have to say...ohh and BTW...when is SW Galaxies coming out?

Well, thanks to Rndm_Perfection, I now have Suikoden 1! I'm already 15 h 30 min into it, and it's so damn awesome! It will keep me occupied for the next 2 weeks or so seeing as I'll probably play through it again and get everything. Also, I will have a job soon, and i'm going to be buying a bunch of old PSX rpgs, including Suikoden 2! Plus I need to finish Xenosaga and Star Ocean 2, so yep, I'll be busy with rpgs most of the summer...

My First post: (Yay!)
DC2 is awsome. Sadly, i'm broke and cannot buy it. But i rented it for a week and returned it a month later.
FF3/6 is the best FF IMO. I can't explain why, it just IS. But the FF series are the ones i'm going thru. I currently have lost FF3. I don't have the better ver, 6, because i cant find it! 3 ok even tho its for my barely working SNES. yeah.
Lets see... i'm playing morrowind off and on, i pulled out a pretty good discount 1, Azure Dreams. I wish i had more money

Well.. You must be talking about FFVI in FF Anthology. The only difference between that and FFIII on SNES is Vicks is changed to Biggs and Cafe is changed to Pub. And the FMV...
And FFVI on the PSX has load times and framerate problems during the battles.
So...
*shrugs and walks away*
*comes back*
Welcome BTW...
