just surfin over at bestbuy and the
coming soon info for Ghost Recon says
internet play is supported for up to
36 players, etc.... just like xbox, do
you think this is a clerical mistake,
or has anyone heard different? I was
really surprised by that, and they are
correct in saying ps2 GR has no online
play...

ghost recon being
online but it would
be really cool.
perhaps sega is
setting up the network,
or the developer or
publisher itself.
it's possible, i mean
the gamecube has
a modem with an
open network so
anything is possible.

Anyway, back on topic. Xbox GR supports 16 players, max. But, it's a P2P game, and only one person I've ever played with can support it, because his ISP is across the street. But, due to the way the console GR are setup, you can only have 12 if you have a team game, and 6 if you have a co-op. 16 is only for solo play.

Haven't heard of online play being an option on GC. But I did hear the PS2 and GC versions feature Desert Siege maps, which were left out of the Xbox version. Downloadable content? Possibly, but currently there is no option. Would need to be an auto-update.

because i'm not part of the gametavern club? i mean really, i've been coming to this board for a couple months, mostly reading the topics and keeping up, not posting much. I want you to step out of your elitist shoes and walk in mine. Here is some advice : Don't act like you are cool, because if I were to judge you right now, you are not. Don't get all hyper about people making fun of you. It will pass. And just keep on posting stuff, and people will like you. Just please stop PMSing before you hurt yourself.
