Mario Kart would be a pretty lousy megaton...Iwant the megaton to be something that will make me happy for owning a GCN...

And anyway, I bet they will be showing off the GBA Player, as someone said...

showing off something they've already announced doesn't sound like they'd be announcing a "breakthrough technology"... but I bet this will be some other crap like megaton crap that goes on and on like crap for a craptacular long time...

Speaking of Virtual Reality, it was brought up in PSM's 2003 discussion... Well, a "new kind" of Virtual Reality... A konami "Team-Director" of Silent Hill 3 brought it up in a small interview in the PSM feature, and said:

"I think 'Virtual Reality' will return as a popular trend. However, it would be a new kind of VR. I daydream that there might be a head-mounted display for use at home. If we could make Silent Hill with this kind of hardware, our ideas would be booming."

And infact, Sony apparently has some kind of gear set for release in some territories that could act as a new kind of Virtual Reality... stuffs... for PS2... Sony's 'PUD-J5A motion-tracking glasstron display' (which is already out in Japan) and Essential Reality's 'P5 Glove' (Scheduled for release next Spring... in Japan, I'm assuming)...

Of course that's PS2, but yeah...

Just thought I'd mention it... Cuz Gamemaster brought up VR...

This is interesting...right when you think the Megaton news is slowing down, slowly being forgotten, BOOM. We get news like this from Nintendo themselves. When they say latest UNVIEL thier latest technological breakthrough, that sounds to me like it will be something big, and something we havent seen before(Not the GBA Player) but thats just me.

I was gonna say basically what DH said. I don't think the breakthrough will be the GBA player. Its already been announced. Unless something that has to do with the GBA player is breakthrough? But ummm....MEGATON!

Yeah, a couple weeks ago, Nintendo assured us their is no megaton announcment that their aware of and then a couple weeks later, Nintendo announces it only changing the word "megaton" to "Breakthrough Technology."
