TNA Xbox 360
Broken, Crap, Trash, Rubbish, this are just some of the euphemisms I can come up with to describe this game. The A.I. is just plain off and the hit detection isnt there. The story mode isnt bad in fact its the only good thing there is. The create a character is pure crap and the graphics is stright PS1. Leave this game on the shelve and wait for samckdaown 09! Thank God for rentals!!!

What did you expect, something worth while? If you want a good wrestling game, go to N64.

WcW vs. nWo is by far the best wrestling game ever. No joke.

Re: TNA Xbox 360
I liked Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy more just for the creation. could make a bunch of guys who weren't in the WWE at the time. However, I do enjoy the smackdown games. They're not as good overall, but at this point since the 64 ones are classics to me I can't see anything being as good without directly stealing its engine.

Re: TNA Xbox 360
I agree with Justin, No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2k are better games than Revenge since they refine the formula and because I have a bias towards WWE.
I did pick up TNA and I think the game is fun but very limited, I see myself getting the achievements and then selling it off. I don't have high hopes for SvR 09 though so I am hoping for a good roster for Legends of Wrestlemania.

Re: TNA Xbox 360
My favourite wrestling game for n64 was definitely wwf attitude. Something about the gameplay was incredibly smooth. And the character creation was definitely the best one I've ever seen for ANY game ever. So deep.

Re: TNA Xbox 360
Hey, there is no more memorable wrestling game than WCW Mayhem, dammit!! It is the perfection of unplayability, and made the assumption that the only wrestlers you would want to create were giant zoo animal-human hybrids. I still have the game to this day and keep it under glass as the worst game ever created.
As for the best game? Well, I maintain that its Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. It had every major japanese wrestler and their movesets, plus because of nearly nonexistant copyright laws in japan, every character they ever crearted for WCW or WWF games were unlockable as well.

Typhoid and I had uncountable hours of fun with WCW vs. NWO Revenge for the N64. Renaming all of the characters and doing 40 man battle royale was the greatest.

Haha we use to do that all the time.
The 40 Man Battle Royale was always so cheap with seeing who could irish whip who first.
I don't know why more games don't include that. The Smackdown series sucks, but doesn't even offer online royal Rumble. Imagine a legit 30 man Rumble.
Personally though, Wrestlemania 2000/No Mercy were more solid packages. And once again partially due to my WWF>WCW stance.

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!! WcW vs NWO is the best wrestling game hands down. Still I thought that the TNA game wouldn’t be as bad as it was. I never actually watched any TNA stuff but they had little video clips and even the 50 or so people there didn’t look like they enjoyed it so much. The people that made the game had to of played smack down vs raw. They’ve had to of known that the game that they made was sub-par. I don’t understand how some games get made. The companies must know that by making a craptastic game that people will remember that and not buy from that company again. Plus how can a game developer put their name on something that just isn’t good. Why isn’t there any pride?

Re: TNA Xbox 360
Okay, I have to know
Why are people saying WCW vs nWo was the best game?
It wasn't even the best in the series.
So what made it so much better than the 3 sequels?
