Default Orange Box for 30 Bucks

Seems like Best Buy is cutting the prices on some of EA's games across the board.

Burnout Paradise is now only $29.99 (PS3/360).
Orange Box for the 360 dropped to $29.99. Army of Two is $49.99.

Need for Speed for every platform dropped by ten bucks. Same with Medal of Honor Heroes 2. Few other titles like Boogie, My Sims, and Sims Castaway got a drop too.

08 sports games are now a notch above clearance levels (NHL, Tiger Woods, NBA Live, NCAA March Madness)

So for the remaining people who don't hahve TF 2 360. Now is the time to jump on it.

Burnout Paradise is definitely worth considering for me now.

I was wondering if I should get it or not.

Those Burnout games are usually a little few and far inbetween with new games.

Now there is no excuse! Everyone with a 360 must now purchase the game and play! NOW!

Is this a sale or a permanent price change?

Usually these are permanent price changes. I picked up a copy of Orange Box for PS3 due to lack of a substantial gaming PC at the moment for 30 bucks a while back at Wal-Mart. So it's stuck.

Hoping it drops to $20. I only want Portal and wish I could buy it by itself.

If you're getting it for the PC, you can also buy just Portal or just TF2 in a store.

I actually somewhat sympathize with this opinion. I found Half-Life 2 and Ep. 1 to be greatly overrated. Ep. 2 is GREAT though, and I finally got what all the hub-bub was about.

You might be sympathizing with a typo....

Gekko wanted to buy Portal by itself....

Then Combine 07 goes "You can buy it by itself,

but why the hell would you want to play Half-Life!?"

So, if I'm following this conversation, either I'm really confused or Combine meant to ask "why wouldn't you want to play half-life." Plus, I think Combine is a huge Half-Life fan.

Anyway, I just wanted to point that out because I'm confused.

But, carry on.

Oh, and in retrospect I kind of agree. Half-Life > Half-Life 2

No offense to you of course, Professor, but I found Half-Life 2 to be great, even if we're just taking into consideration the fact that it was a big step forward from the original Half-Life.

I will agree with you on Half-Life 2 Ep1, though. It was way too short and not enough good clean action. Mostly plot stuff.

Ep. 2 was perfect. I have high hopes for ep 3.

har dee har

This sounds like a debate!

What makes Half-Life 2 a big step forward from Half-Life?
