You and me both (and most of my friends). We're all looking for this to replace WoW for us, and praying we're not let down.

From what I saw of the game, it looked like crap, yet all I hear from everyone is how this'll get them to stop playing WoW or something. Does anyone know of a good trailer I could view showcasing this game's supposed strengths?

I think a lot of hardcore RPGers are looking forward to this game because they view it as the more pure element of the fantasy genre. What I mean by saying this is that Blizzard has been essentially copying the Waehammer universe for years now, starting with Warcraft and continuing with Starcraft (Warhammer 40k). The difference is that Blizzard is just much at making the universe work for video games.

With Dawn of War doing so well I think a lot of people hope that Warhammer will finally take its place, and realize its potential, with the MMO as the premiere fantasy video game franchise.

Not for me, though. I was never a fan of straight up Warhammer... 40k though? I love it.
