Let's have a religious/faith-based discussion forum!

Nah, nevermind. Most people here are atheist/agnostic.

And don't think it's just this case, no, I've been offended a lot the last half year on Gametavern.

So maybe I'll post again one day. But not soon, I won't even read GT.

Oh btw, yes, incest is so funny. har har.

Edit: Did I mention GT sucks monkeyballs? Too boring lately. Sorry. Bye.
Edit2: "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws." Whatever.
You’re out of line.

We wish you a happy birthday, which, regardless of the fact that it's not your birthday and it's a "heathen" holiday, was given with the best of intentions. Yet you scorn us for it and insinuate that we’re all heathens for celebrating the day of our birth. So heathens did it first; that doesn’t mean that’s the reason I celebrate it.

Sorry you haven’t enjoyed the posts lately. If you want something interesting, post something interesting yourself. You get what you give.

You’re offended by the simplest of things. And quite frankly, I don’t know if it’s your religion, if it’s your parental upbringing, or if your uncle touched you when you were little; nor do I give a damn. All I know is that people will be people, and you can walk around with your nose in the air like you’re better than everybody else; and you can treat anybody who isn’t you and doesn’t believe what you believe as an undeserving heathen. But in the end, you’re just going to end up alone, all by yourself. And you’ll deserve it, because you did it to yourself.

Grow Up, and Good Riddance.

Haha, gambling. You gamble with your own life everytime you get behind the wheel of a car. Life is about taking chances.

Anyway I pulled out my N64 and plugged in Banjo-Kazooie. Despite the dated graphics it's still a wonderful game. The gameplay, available moves, sound effects and music are all perfect, not to mention its lovable charm. And it's completely free of rape, incest, or any other sexually deviant behavior.

Those ****ers better not have a birthday party somewhere in the game.

Ok so I post again to... I don't know.

I don't care if you guys have a bad opinion about me, I guess I deserve that. But it does hurt me that my religion got involved. I never have social problems like this in real life, it's only happened twice over the internet. Somehow I can't express myself correctly. My 'methods' don't have anything to do with my religion, though my opinions have.

Thing is, maybe I changed, maybe GT changed, probably both. I just don't feel 'at home' here anymore. Please don't take that as an insult.

I didn't get mad in that birthday topic . I thanked for the good intentions and explained myself, how can that be bad?

Sorry for the commotion, for the backstab at GT. It's nobody's personal fault, I just don't fit in anymore. I've felt this for a while.

I did put energy into GT, but after a while you forget why you do so.

I'm sure I forgot to post something important in here, not sure if I'll edit or post or leave it.

Again: sorry for that. Best of luck to all of you.

Religion? War? Never though I'd see those two words together in the same sentence.

I think Neo hit the nail head-on.

A person I knew once said, "a joke isn't funny unless it offends."

I suppose there is a joke out there in some context that doesn't offend anyone, but that's what a joke is all about. Pointing out something dumb, ironic, or funny, taking a stab at something in a humorous way, or poking fun at something.

There's like a bajillion different groups of people with a bajillion different tastes and preferences. And unless you learn to lighten up, you'll never enjoy life.
