Unhappy Wireless Internet

Does anyone know of any wireless internet protocols besides the one that comes with Windows XP? I have timewarner roadrunner wireless but the connection keeps freezing on me. I've updated all my drivers but it hasn't helped.

Have you contacted Roadrunner? Sometimes things will act buggy and they have to reset your connection. Of course in the meantime, you could unplug your modem and router and plug them back in.

Yeah I've tried that. My computer is the only one in our apartment that has this problem. I exchanged routers with my roommate and there was no change. The people at Roadrunner are idiots. You can just tell within the first 10 seconds if the person really has a clue or if he's just reading off a script.

It's not old, and I've had problems from the beginning.
