Still tempted to throw it nonetheless.

Re: Boomerang Debunked
This is exactly what I was thinking. Looks like a boomernana, yet after you think about it, it would be a very comfortable controller.
Remember don't judge a book by it's cover.........in this case don't judge a controller by it's prongs.

Re: Boomerang Debunked
lol, i was just coming here to post that.
A guy on IGN compared it to the natural way of playing a snare drum, which is cool since I'm a also a drummer.

Re: Boomerang Debunked
If playing the PS3 is like driving a steering wheel, I'll be real good.

Re: Boomerang Debunked
Yeah, but what if holding a steering wheel isn't natural. They haven't covered their scope.
Seriously, when I'm driving, I never fit on to one position. And it's rarely 10-2.

Re: Boomerang Debunked
Well, I just pretended I was playing a video game with one of the bananas in our kitchen. It felt... okay. Not to say that a banana is a 100% accurate representation of the PS3 controller. Luckly, I have good sized hands and long fingers but those Japanese gamers... unless they're Yao Ming-esque... it's going to be tough...

Re: Boomerang Debunked
your not driving a car with it.. thats not what they're saying.
they're saying its curved like that because its a relaxed way for the wrists to sit. whether you drive like that or not, it doent FEEL like a steering wheel. its just trying to discribe it.

I play the drums also.
but I dont think it'd be a problem to use that controller, doesn't seem too bad.

You're "arguing" a point I've already considered. I never meant to reference the steering wheel directly.
I still stand by the fact that I don't like the concept of steering wheel's comfort factors. I would rather have an airplane steering wheel. Now that would be some flavour.

Whatever Sony tries, I'll never have one of those in my hands.
... Ok, I'll probably try it as soon as I see one.
