Default Perfect Dark - Why is it so insanely cheap?

One of the best N64 games and its seriously on eBay for like 60 cents (not a typo) still factory sealed....

Did Rare/Nintendo have this outrageously large warehouse full of PD? o_O

Because almost everyone who wants it has it and it's not hard to find if you don't. Why is the SMB/Duck Hunt cartrage avaliable for a dime at any gamestop that still stocks NES carts?

Low demand + High Supply = low price

To answer your question, my friend, gamers rejected the concept of Perfect Dark as being the "spiritual sequel" to GoldenEye 007. In addition, the fact that the gameplay styles are extremely similar and it runs on an enhanced version of the same game engine, it was released too late in N64's lifespan and that tainted its chances of carrying the same impact as its predecessor.
