It's a joke, and a comment on society (the GBJ thing); and if you truly find it blasphemous I think that it's in the eye of the beholder. It's like saying Jesus Christ or God Damn.

It's not like I'm truly saying, "My God, why have you Forsaken me." It's not like I'm actually placing blame on God or Jesus for anything. It's just that society has made it a saying that is commonly used as a curse. In a way, Gameboy Jesus is a reference to it being the second coming of Nintendo. If God doesn't have a sense of humor, we're all screwed.

The words don't matter, it's the intention behind them.
