Aladdin
Well, this is by far, IMO, the best Disney movie of all-time most won't agree, but eh.
Anyhow, like any good Aladdin fan, I picked up the Special Edition DVD. Well first time on DVD, but eh.
And it's choked full of cool extras. There are 4 songs on it that were deleted from the movie. Including one called "Proud of Your Boy", which Aladdin sings to his mother (before she was dropped from the movie), then it turned to him singing it to his dead mother, which was really sad. The other 3 are ok, two of them were they were trying to get Jafar his own solo, he really didn't end up getting one since well it just didn't work. He however did get a reprise of "Prince Ali", which worked well in the context of the movie.
It also has two deleted scenes, including one dealing with Aladdin's mother.
I've only really skimmed the DVD, haven't even watched the mmain movie (I saw it on Friday but not DVD quality).

Re: Aladdin
I'm a fan. I picked up the DVD last Tuesday and finally got to watch it on Saturday. I'm pleased. Still haven't watched all the extras but what I saw was good.

Re: Aladdin
I'm going to buy this as soon as I think I can afford it.
The Lion King and Snow White get the slight edge over this as my favourite Disney movie of all time...but it's close.

Re: Aladdin
It's odd you should mention this, because this friend of mine from school is obsessed with this movie and day before yesterday she bought the soundtrack and brought it to school and forced several people to listen to it.
I might buy the DVD for her for Christmas...she would probably orgasm. :\

Re: Aladdin
Haha everybody's probably gonna get her the Alladin DVD. You have to beat them to it by giving her an early present.

Because it's realistic. Because the main character of story, Quasimodo doesn't get the girl in end. Instead some side character does and they both talk down to Quasimodo like he's a kid trying to convince him that he can't be with Esmerelda, lol. It's the first realistic Disney story. Moral: Nice guys always finish last. And in the end, girls are always going to opt for looks over heart and personality. I agree, Hunchback of Notre Dame is the best and it's a great way to open kid's eyes to the real world.

Re: Aladdin
Aladdin is a good movie, and it is true that all good teenagers take off their clothes.
And in the little Mermaid theres a penis on the cover, its one of the gold things on the castle thing.
Plus in the Little Mermaid, when they are getting married, you have to be quick, but the priest has wood. You can see it when he moves.
Plus in the Lion King when the lion..."guy"...falls off the cliff the dust spells out "Sex".
Oh Disney. Implanting problems among the youth.
