Trojan help

Being the idiot that I am i accepted a trojan over hotmail. I was pretty sure it was a trojan before i downloaded it but i felt like taking my chances, this was a friend that sent it to me so i trusted him. Anyway know he knows my pass. If I just delete the file will he still be able to find out my pass and ****? Is it gone now?

This one's easy...

Go to your nearest computer software retailer and shell out some green ones for some good virus protection software. Like Norton.

Well I had him send me it over hotmail cause i figured the hotmail virus scanner would catch it but I guess im an idiot. The file was clean cept when you opened it it would auto download a file or somethin like that maybe thats why the virus scanner didnt catch it? or was i just seein things?
