Posting while never leaving the thread. If you refresh while in the thread it doesnt count as a view.

So in this thread, me and you can post 100 times, while never leaving, and it would be 100 replies and 2 views.

Or at least, thats what im assuming.

It only counts 1 view for each person. you can go into a topic many times after your initial view, it doesnt count for more. At least thats what i've seen.
look at the view count. go into the topic. go back out refresh and it has the same number of views.

which really doesnt seem right. But eh, whatever.

Yeah, it's to fix the F5 problem threads had. So users can't boosts views anymore.
