Free PSO?

Seeings as the PSO forum has gone i supose i'll have to post this here. A while back i heard about there being an unofficial free server for PSO that was fairly popular. Until now i hadn't thought much about.
So does anyone know what the address for the server is or any info on it? If you cant post it on the forum because of forum rules then could you PM me please?

That would be nice, I have this strange feeling there would be a lot of cheating going on? Is it worth it to lose all your items and possibly your hard leveled character just to play free?

No. It wouldnt be worth it.

I have heard rumors of a "free server", but I wouldnt feel safe using it. There would deffinatly be a ton of cheating, and it's probably not legal.

I remember when I used to play Everquest, there were some websites that let you play for free, but it wasnt legal, and the service was usually bad and stuff...so yeah.

I know there's an unofficial free server on the Dreamcast side..not sure how to get to it but I know there is one (after sega pulled the plug last year on the PSO servers).

Not sure if there is one on the GC side. Maybe google it and see what happens

Ok... So if a program is Shareware (Like Nexus, and I'm assuming Ragnarok) is it legal to create your own server and run the game?

Just wondering.
