CD Burner help

Default CD Burner help

I just recently got a MSI CR52-M internal ATAPI CD-ReWriter. The problem is the drive is not be detected by my pc even though it's all connected. Can I please get some help on this matter?

Did it come with special configuration software of it's own? Perhaps you should consult the creator's website. Perhaps your skills aren't so evil after all?

my cd rom did the same thing when I reformated it.
I had to borrow ominubs for a min so i could load an os but then it worked just fine.

I say go to the manufatures website and get the drivers make sure its pluged in all the way or send it back

if you have 2 drives. dont you have to set one to slave? (been a while since i had 2 cd drives)

Yeah. 1 as master, one as slave. Otherwise windows gets confused.

But like others have said, make sure you have the correct drivers and the ide cable is plugged in all the way. (Make sure power is connected to)
