Arnold runs for govenor.
It's been announced on Jay Leno that Arnold Swartzenegger will be running for govenor of California. What does everyone think of this?

Re: Arnold runs for govenor.
I think it's great. He's eager to repair California and has bright hopes for our future.

He's already rich so he won't need to take bribes or feel the urge to. I think he'd do a good job as govenor.

Re: Arnold runs for govenor.
I remember when Arnold said on Leno he wouldn't accept bribes because he already has the money. If I lived in CA, that wouldn't make me want to vote for him just for that. I would have to see his views first. But since he's a republican...........

Ah-nold is going to beat Gray Davis up, and then terminate him.

Re: Arnold runs for govenor.
To quote a thing from Conan not too long ago (dont know what day it was done, but it was one of his picture with the moving mouth and had arnold on it)
"I will become the Govanator! Then, eventually the Presinator!" (after that conan pointed out he cant become the presinator )

I have bright hopes for the future of California too, but guess what? I don't know **** about running a state.
I lived through Ventura. I'll never vote for any famous person again in my life.

Guess not.
I think Arnold would be an awesome governor. I mean, how can you not vote for a guy who has killed aliens, been to Mars, came back from the future three times, and has a cool accent! Okay, maybe he didnt really do all those things, but if we pretend he did...
I dont have a doubt in my mind that he will be a good politician, he can tell True Lies, afterall.

Re: Arnold runs for govenor.
Arnold may be a Republican, but he's a very moderate Republican. He's pro-choice and pro-gun control, for example. Personally, this makes him a more attractive candidate to me because I'm a centrist myself. But it may drive some GOP hardliners away.

Straight from MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.com/news/949666.asp?0cv=CB20&cp1=1
I must admit, first time I've ever looked at MSNBC.

I'd vote for him, but its not the only time someone weird ran for an important position, in Port coquitlam, a suburb near vancouver, we once had a man in a planters peanut costume run for mayor and whenever he was asked any questions about his campaign instead of saying anything he did a dance.
