Hypnotic buys the rights to an Eternal Darkness TV show or movie

Eternal Darkness movie/TV show

It seems some production company called Hynotic has the bought the rights to make a movie or television show based off of Eternal Darkness.

I personally hope if Hypnotic actually does anything with the license, they make it a television show. Either a live action show maybe airing on the Sci-Fi channel or an animated show airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim would be fine for me. I just don't see how the story of ED could possibly be told in a movie.

I think it should be a TV Show, too, and probably will be. The episodic story form of the game fits well for TV format. I'm excited to see, if the series is even mildly popular, how it will affect sales of the what I thought was a fantastic game (but apparently sold less than 300,000!).

Less than 300,000? Was it really that low? Thats sad...it should've sold triple that. It was sure as hell good enough to. A tv show would probably be better.

Me too... there's been an RE movie, now an ED movie/TV show... I think they're making an Alone in the Dark movie too... Silent Hill is an outcast... so sad considering it's the best one of the four
