Who believes in teenage love?
Who here believes that teenagers are capable of actually loving someone of the opposite sex? I don't mean bare attraction based on the other's pysical appearance but actual love.
I'll post what I think...later...at some point....in the future...

Love is created through circumstance. For a couple, love might be best sparked during teenage years.
However, I believe most (if not close to all) teenage relationships are destined to fail.
EDIT: Girls also make me horny O_o.

Re: Who believes in teenage love?
Well it really depends on the maturity of the teenager. There are smarter teenagers out there than others that can make the right decision about love. And then there are stupider kids who make the mistake of having unprotected sex and ruining there live just by that one night. Teenager have their whole lives to decide when to marry, they can wait...
Girls make me horny O_o

*walks back in*
Well, I used to believe that any romace between anyone younger than like 21 was nothing more than two immature idiots who couldn't control the sexual urges that they were suddenly feeling towards the opposite sex.
And the fact that I went through seventh and eighth grade feeling that and being fully capable of ignoring them.
But certain recent complications, some of you know what I'm talking about (and its really not hard to figure out what it could be), have made me rethink my position on it.
So I'm not sure. I'm leaning toward yes, teenagers are capable of feeling true love, but... Still thinking.
Anyway...

I think it is possible. But I think it is very, very rare to find true love as a teenager. IMO, most teens are just horny .

Re: Who believes in teenage love?
Teenagers can love of course, they just have a harder time dealing with and understanding it. Mainly they are just horny. Guys especially who are about 17-18. I'm 25 now and though I still love the ladies, I can feel a definite difference. I'm not the hormone crazed guy I was at 17.

Well, my parents met when they were 17 years old. They didn't really date seriously at the time, and they certainly didn't talk marriage then. But they did eventually marry, and some twenty years later, they are still together.
Of course, they had just recently come in from Vietnam, so their environment was very different. Maybe living in Vietnam just forces you to grow up fast in order to earn money and take care of all your younger siblings.
I'm 18, but I don't think I'm controlled by my hormones now. I certainly was back when I was 14, but at this point...well, you all know what my feelings on girls are. Good looks are nice, but great conversation is better. And if she has any interest in fiction writing...
And I know my roommate is capable of real love. He was 19 up until recently.
Then again, my roommate and I are definitely on the older side of the teenage spectrum.
