Well it's no surprise that GTAVC and MP are the top selling games right now. Although personally, I don't think GTA deserves to be one of the top selling titles, but meh...
And Splinter Cell is the best Xbox right now obviously...no surprise there.

*shrugs* no real suprises here...Nintnedo Wont be on top In the USA any time soon, same with X-Box...Japan is another story...I see nintendo owning the next few months there.

I agree with Crono on GTA. I think this series is gonna get abused VERY soon. But at least MP is up there.

GameCube's number one hit of the Christmas season came this close to a third party wrestler? Wow... Good numbers for both, but I did not expect Prime to sell this few copies... I was expecting at least 500,000.

these are sales numbers for november... when did prime come out

Metroid was released on November 18th, I believe....

Shut Your Mouth was released on the 13th..... A 5 day difference.... Metroid still should have done much better.

Hmmm... the 10th PS2 game sold better than the 2nd XB and 3rd GC game.

Is MKDA out on the Cube?? It sold quite well on the other consoles...

Yeah sure..... Sony has sold 3 Million PS2s this year compared to Gamecube's 792,000, PS2 and PSOne still dominate the sales charts (a couple Bandai games, Biohazard, and 1st party stuff are the only things selling Cube wise...) I don't see Gamecube remotely taking over there: yes Chronicles and Zelda will sell in copius amounts for a while then burn out. I don't see MP selling extremely well though (Miyamoto and Yokoi have always said that the series is much bigger here). You also have FF X-2, DQ VIII, VF 4 Evo, Choas Legion, Devil May Cry 2 and a whole gaggle of other PS2 titles coming out in the next several months too, and with the Gamecube install base a fraction of what PS2's is this "war" is basically over.

That said, GBA is huge already, and past PS2 in sales, so if you figure that in, Nintendo HAS owned there for the last year and a half or so....

BTW, Brian are those NPD numbers? That's pretty neat. I didn't know they actually track sales down to individual numbers here. Smackdown 4 selling that well sort of disturbs me.....
