Default So I was at Audio King yesterday...

Waiting for service i noticed something in front of me. Tiny little square, said "SD."

Walked over to see nothing else than a 64MB SD card.

Checked the price, and to my amazement, it was selling for $49.95

Come on Nintendo, release the bloody SD-card adapters already! 128 memory card 59's for the price of 1 game! It's cheap enough, release it!

Granted, very few people have any idea what a SD card is. So why not release it online only like they did the component video cables, and the GBA/GC link cable for the initial period?

Nintendo can't release it yet, they still have to sell memory card 59 for a short while longer at a rip-off price... then sell that memory card... 200 whatever for a rip-off price as well... so they make lots of money... and then make more money off the SD card when they release it in a few years

Yeah really I wanna know when they will release it too... cuz I mean, they talked about it when they first revealed the gamecube... and then like... nothing... no info or anything... except for a little story or comment or something about "Not having a release date for it" or something... I wonder if they will ever release it...

But I've said that before

Memory Card 251 isn't really a rip-off price. 2MB card for $19.99 compared to .5MB card for $14.99.

Course, compare it to other consoles... and let's not get into it. I won't complain about the price, cause I paid that much for the 59. I just want my SD card.

I was thinking of doing that... but I don't need it now, and I don't like third party accesories...

And so I wait... and hopefully they release the SD card thing soon

I'll hold out for ther SD card before I buy 3rd party products -- especially memory cards. In the past, 3rd party memory cards have been known to crap out on you. I've had that happen before with Nintendo 64, I lost all of my games saves on my 3rd party memory card. I was so pissed after that, I bought a Dex Drive so I could have a backup on my PC..
