"Wii fit heart attack indicator." <-- That was hilarious.

Right now Natal looks like the best technology, probably because it is so different than what has come before and was sold fairly well during the conference. But, of course, we'll have to see how these technologies eventually pan out, which will likely be quite different than how they were presented a few days ago.

After getting a degree in Interactive Arts, nothing has that magic anymore. The brawn behind Natal just lies in algorithms and not technology. I'd be willing to bet you could put your own Natal together for very cheap, minus all the cool recognition, but with the exact same cameras.

Wii was magical when we first saw it. The indicator doesn't really do anything special - neither does the balance board. Sony's technology was just an afterthought to the Wii.

None of it matters unless somebody launches a console with it like they did with Wii. Wii sacrificed a lot to get where it is.

So, my answer is none.

Yeah Dyne didn't answer anything.

With that said, based off of potential, The Natal wins hands down. I mean if it works as well as advertised it is a big time game changer... next generation.

I mean I'm happy that MS is pushing forward with it, but I don't know why they don't make it a marquee of the next generation.

My fear with both MS and Sony is that they will only get their feet wet with motion controls which means we will see limited support from 1st parties and 3rd party developers, and coming near the end (or middle) of a gaming life cycle won't help matters any either.

Another thing is, well the Wii has been on the market for almost 3 years, there are natural limitations of the controller to be sure, but developers have hardly found many interesting ways to use it. How does Sony and MS tech change that really? And that's my biggest fear is we will have all these new tech on the market... but no new ideas to back em.

Yeah it is pretty sad that we've seen so few motion controlled games. A few good ones:

Wii Sports
Zack & Wiki
All the games that use IR aiming
...

I guess there are many games that mostly use the tilt sensors in a good way. Rayman Raving Rabbids. SSX something. Super Monkey Ball. Many racing games (mostly Nintendo-made).

The rest is mainly waggle.
