Tip for Neo: you should check into whether this forum has protection from spam bots. They've started showing up on a lot of forums (including mine which forced me to upgrade to add protection). I have a feeling these spammers are merely programs rather than actual human beings, so with a little Human Readable Image registration, you could cut out most of them.

Our is supposed to be setup that way. Somehow they even bypass the email registration requirement. Hopefully the upgrade will fix it.

email wouldnt be hard for them to get around i dont think.

but we have the thing where it shows you a picture and says to type in the letters you see in that picture when you sign up?

A great people has been moved to defend a great forum. Spam attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest threads, but they cannot touch the foundation of GameTavern.
