Macs are the latest trend, everyone is ditching their PC to pick up a macbook. And now that Intel is all "let's make processors for the Mac" it's even better. Except Vista won't run on your Mac. But hey, they'll have windows xp for a year or so.
My favorite argument that justifies buying a Mac though is, “now I can run windows on it.”
I'll check out WMP11 right now g. It's not a terrible program at all, although I'm a winamp kid.

I've been a Mac user since I was 7. I've been an iTunes user since it came out. But I've had a PC for software for an equally long time. I like Apple's products; they are (in general) more reliable, better looking, and more intuitive than anything offered on PC from my experience. Vista looks to be a wanna-be copy of what X did for Mac OS; tries to unclutter and prettify the OS. X actually got rid of the worst part of Mac OS though, extensions. Vista still depends on a Registry (IMO the worst part of Windows).
It might be a trend, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. Apple products hardly need purchase justification.
