Getting those taxes done?
Depending on your age...
Have you/your parents done your/their taxes yet?
How do you go about them? Computer program, your desk, a local tax place such as H&R Block?
Do you take to them early or are you finishing in the morning of April 14th?

Well, since this is my first time doing taxes, I figure I'm going to wait as long as humanly possible before I do them. Also, I have to have my parents help me with them and there not too thrilled about it either. Oh well, I'll end up doing them soon I hope....or else....you guys might not be seeing me for a while....

Done?
Hell, I got my refund a month ago.
My philosphy is to do it as early as possible when you get money back and as late as possible when you owe money.

My parents have finished our taxes and all of their friends taxes (my parents get taken advantage of in that way... they don't get paid for any of the work they do for the others, and it takes major time).
My dad bought tax programs to do them at first, but he found MAJOR mistakes in both the New York and the New Jersey programs. The New Jersey program had such severe errors that father is worried about some of the people who will use and, not being professionals, not notice them. Andt he scary thing is that these were the reccomended programs...the good ones.
Ohhhh well... back to doing them by hand.

My mom had our taxes done by the beginning of Feb. and we already have our tax return back.
She used the tax software on the computer and has been doing people's taxes that our in our family. Everyone in our family calls her H&R Dawn, hehe.

I actually owed the government money this year - and here I was thinking I would be getting a refund.

Yes and no.
Yes, my family's taxes are done.
No, mine aren't -- I didn't pay anything into taxes this year. Next year I'll get some back (I hope).

My parents are finished them. They just put everything on the table. But they were going crazy. It was weird... I guess it must have been stressful for them.
