By not going with HDTV as manditory, first off, how many of you have an HDTV, and how many others can tell me which shot is the SD and which shot is the HD
sure it seems kinda apparent, but it is that big of a difference?
no, theres not much difference on a blurry picture of a game that was started last gen.
on an actual TV vs HDTV, yes there is quite a bit of difference. you can see that by loading up a game that came on both pc and xbox, set the pc to a high resolution. even without AA on, its just so much sharper and clearer.
i do believe however for nintendos market it is a good idea for them to leave HD support out and bring the price down as much as possible.
There is quite a bit of difference at 720p. Taking a picture with a digital camera makes it hard to tell, but watching something is native HD, an watching it in 480i is like night and day.
I dont mind HD support not being Mandatory but Ninty needs to include some kind of it that is comparable so 3rd parties (some will) decide not to bring a game to Rev because ti doesnt have HD support.
Leave the option to buy an accessory for HD and whatnot. I still dont understand why they removed the "Digital video" port from the Gamecube besides just to "cut costs"....
