N. Korea and Nukes
I read this news bit on Yahoo and kind of worries me what N. Korea is thinking. Could there be a possibility of a chance N. Korea would be gutsy to launch a Nuke at the west coast of the US?

Re: N. Korea and Nukes
There isn't really a chance for North Korea to hit us directly with a nuclear weapon.
What is a bigger threat is them hitting our allies, the South Koreans, if we do anything against them. They have that political string to pull in order to bully us, so they figure they can use that. They are really just big bullies and nuclear weapons is their little thing that they can hold out in front of them to scare people.
They know they can't use it against anyone, especially our allies, or else they would be a pile of rubble in no time.

Re: N. Korea and Nukes
The thing is, is that whats his name in N. Korea could care less from the sound of it. The reason the US hasn't gone after N. Korea yet is because they boast about their Nukes and silently threaten to use one if needed.
But you know, for Iraq, diplomatic stuff never worked and Bush thought it would be nice to send in troops..oh I'll leave my comments for another thread
But if Iran started boasting it had a Nuke and would launch it at any target if the US attacked, what would Bush do? He seems hell bent on invading Iran right now.

Re: N. Korea and Nukes
My theory is North Korea is going to hold something hostage. They know that we don't want nuclear war.

Even though we don't want it, we would unleash all our power if necessary, leaving North Korea as nothing more than filth and miles of wasteland. They're using the weapons as a indirect threat, to stop us from helping their enemies or doing things that they don't want us to do.

Re: N. Korea and Nukes
If they did it would throw their own people into a state of uncontrollable panic. They would loot, rape, and pillage as they attempt to escape the cities in time before we vaporize them.

So.....you're saying....if North Korea attacked the U.S. with Nukes, all the North Koreans would transform into Vikings?!?!

Yep
Actually, what I think he is saying is that they know they would be a crater in about two seconds, so order would break down.
