News network slants
Try to rank all the news agencies CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, by which ones have a conservative or liberal slant. I didn't bother to include Fox News since as I already explained it's more of a propaganda machine than a legitimate news organization.
CBS appears to be a little conservative, but I'm not sure about the others.

Are you nuts? Dan Rather is less a liberal than a raving nutbag and CBS just had a huge scandal for using forged documents about Bush's national guard career without ever fact checking them. 60 Minutes pretty much specializes to trying to win the election for Kerry.
I rank CBS above CNN in the liberal-ometer.

Re: News network slants
CBS seems to go out of its way to post Kerry-bashing articles. But I agree Dan Rather is fruitier than a nutcake.

Re: News network slants
The reason they seem to have some anti-Kerry attitude is because they really want Hillary in office in 4 years...
I feel almost all mass media news outlets have at least some degree of liberal bias.

Re: News network slants
Where the main liberal bias is relevant is in the paper media. The New York Times is read across the world, and not only are they openly liberal but will manipulate the news to suit their agenda.
Example: The New York Times recently reported that a stash of explosives were stolen in Iraq and John Kerry is using this in his campaign speeches. What didn't they mention? This happened in April, 2003. They didn't report about it then, and now its suddenly a big news story? Can anyone say "tampering"?
Not only that, but now the NBC news crew that was imbedded with the Airborne group that supposedly discovered the explosives stash are saying that they never found any of these supposed explosives.
There's something fishy going on here...

Forgot C-SPAN. Aired every anti-war protest and anti-war rally that ever existed. Didn't air one thing from groups for the war.

Re: News network slants
Mass media outlets should just all be burned down. Whether or not they are liberal, the way some media organizations manipulate people shouldn't be tolerated, at all.

Re: News network slants
I think Rush Limbaugh is the epitamy of straightforward, non-slanted news.
...
Sorry, couldn't help it

Re: News network slants
The only sure one is Fox News Channel, which is blatantly conservative. CBS, CNN and MSNBC all seem to be slightly liberal (which is to expected with a conservative government).
