Default Englandites attempting to influence election

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/...eut/index.html

Quote:
LONDON, England (Reuters) -- A pro-Kerry letter-writing campaign by Britain's left-leaning Guardian newspaper, targeting undecided U.S. voters, has provoked outrage across the Atlantic.

The paper has encouraged its readers to express their opinions on the November 2 presidential election to voters in the key swing state of Ohio -- to the fury of Clark County, about 45 miles west of Columbus, the state capital.
This part almost made me choke:

Quote:
But the newspaper, whose cartoons regularly portray President George W. Bush as a semi-literate ape, was unrepentant.
Here are some American reactions:

Quote:
"Hey England, Scotland and Wales, mind your own business. We don't need weenie-spined Limeys meddling in our presidential election," was one of the e-mail reactions to the campaign.

"Real Americans aren't interested in your pansy-ass, tea-sipping opinions. If you want to save the world, begin with you own worthless corner of it," wrote one from Texas.

I think before we start worrying about foreigners tampering with the election, we should start with the tampering going on in our own back yard. Like Michael Moore trying to get F911 on PPV the night before the election, his speaking tour blatantly and illegally stumping for Kerry and the new Kerry documentary (I believe its called Forgotten Honor or something) about to hit theaters.

Lets not leave the republicans out, though, as they are currenty "harvesting" votes (along with democrats) in Florida by collecting absentee votes from the elderly and turning them in themselves.

Kind of scary, ain't it?

Is F 9/11 not already on PPV? It's out on DVD and most of those movies are on in demand or PPV.

I know it's not the same idea, but this kind of relates to why I don't think that we should have UN officials overviewing the election polls and such. It's just the idea of having some other country or countries having a say in OUR election.

They need to keep their noses in their own business.

UN Officials overview polls not in an attempt to influence them but to provide some manner of objectivity where it can be sorely lacking. Though I agree that we don't need foreigners trying to campaign on one candidates behalf.

And some Americans wonder why the world doesnt like them?

Speaking of the UN, I don't think they should have any influence on anything we do... EVER. I am watching Fairenhype 9/11 right now and the details they have on the amount of money being thrown around the Russia and France is astounding. We're talking about OIL FIELDS, not just cash.

I'll do a write of it when I'm done watching.

Back to the subject at hand.

****ing Guardian.

Serioulsy, American's aren't going to listen to a bunch of Brits telling them how to vote. If anything this is going to swing votes away from John Kerry.

Hearts in the right place, heads up their asses.

Let America = Iraq.
Let Brits=America.
Let vote=(have) freedom.
Let John Kerry= the New Regime.

This now says:

Serioulsy, Iraqi's aren't going to listen to a bunch of Americans telling them how to have freedom. If anything this is going to swing freedom away from the new regime.
