Mario Golf: Advance Tour
I think I might go ahead and pick this one up tomorrow, since Im going on vacation on Saturday. I absolutley LOVED the one for the GameBoy color, and this one has been getting rave reviews as well, most saying thats its better than the Gamecube Version. It sounds like its a lot like the one for gameboy color, with RPG elements and leveling up characters and stuff like that. I'll be sure to post impressions when I get my hands on it.

Re: Mario Golf: Advance Tour
Well I bought it today, and so far, so very good. The graphics are decent enough, wont drop you dead, but they look pretty good. The courses seem varied and the mechanics spot on. Also, the RPG elements are a nice change of pace from a normal round of golf.
I do have one minor gripe: only one RPG story mode slot. I was hoping me and my brother both could enjoy seperate story modes while in the car on our trip, but it looks like that wont be happening, unfortunatley.

You'll have to buy another copy.

Re: Mario Golf: Advance Tour
I bought it yesterday and was playing it last night. It's very nice, but my gripe is a lot bigger than Jason1's.. it's a #$@%ing carbon copy of Mario Golf GBC! Swear to god, rip off the Toadstool Tour elements, minor course changes, nicer graphics, minor story changes, and the new "star" courses, it's literally the same formula as the Game Boy Colour version. All of the old champions from that game are sitting in the same spot they did in the last clubhouse, but they're not really "champions" now.
I really don't like how similar the games are.
On another note, I got -10 on my first run through on Marion, and -11 on Palm club. Either the game is easy or my skills from the GBC transfer over to the GBA version rather well, and I REALLY hope it's the latter!
But still a good game. Good to pick up. I like the connectivity with TT too; I tried it today. The ability to transfer even taunts and putdowns is really cool.

Re: Mario Golf: Advance Tour
I won't be buying it. I just don't have the time and extra money.
Is mario tennis confirmed for the gba? I'm interested in that title.

Supposedly?
Oh yes, just wanted to mention that I'm writing a FAQ for this. So be checking Gamefaqs later I guess? I submitted it already so hopefully it'll be uploaded soon.

I won it with -14. By accident. I went out unready.
Heck, I won Mushroom Tourney with -9.. and it was my first time.
I'm too good for my own good.
Still plugging out the FAQ here. Uploading soon.

Re: Mario Golf: Advance Tour
Eh, I beat it finally, and beating the Mario one wasnt too tough. Twas a decent game, slightly easy, but the replay value is definatley there, no doubt.
