WindowsXP more secure than Mac OS X ??

If your a virus writer, do you want to attack 95% of internet users, or less then 5%...I think that speaks for itself.

But oh well if OSX is less secure. If Secunia tells Apple about these holes, apple can fix them. People just say its more secure because virus writers don't want a small portion attacked. They want the motherlode

I am suprised, but at the same time I guess this is expected. Of course an OS with a much larger userbase has to be more secure than a smaller userbase OS. MS XP has had SO many vulnerabilities thrown at it that it has no choice to be anything but secure, even moreso than MacOSX.

close, but i think its a bit more of with all the attacks they get on windows, these attackers/hackers are actually finding all the holes then MS fixes em. making it more secure in that sense.
the less people find em on other OS's, the less they get fixed.

MS has its problems. but they do work damn hard at this stuff and never get credit.

Why is it we dont have an ignore list here? i know vbulletin has the ignore lists cuz other message boards use it. really do need one tho so everyone can block that out.
