T-Mac for Francis
As a rockets fan I'm quite upset with this trade. Right when the team was starting to click they trade away Rocket's whole back court for Tracy McGrady.
I'm not saying for sure that this is a bad thing... I mean, T-Mac is the man... but as proven last championship, teams win champoinships, not superstars.
We better have a DAMN good year next year /rant
What do you think about the Trade?

Re: T-Mac for Francis
I think McGrady is a better player than Francis, but we'll have to see how McGrady works with Yao.

Re: T-Mac for Francis
The Magic got three starters and can have Gooden or D. Howard coming off the bench which is good. The Rockets got J. Howard who is likely to start at PF and Ming is just going to keep on getting better. Jim Jackson can play consistently at the 3 and TMac will probably be paired up with Lue (if they don't sign B Barry or D Fish) in the backcourt. Gaines has great potential too.
The Rockets got the better end of this trade but the Magic are the better team because of their bench and I love Jameer Nelson so I hope they do great!

Re: T-Mac for Francis
Af far as who's future is improved more I would say orlando got the better end of the deal. Like noted above, Orlando got 3 starters, all signed to long term deals. Rockets get only one sure starter, and he only has one year left on his contract.
McGrady is also having knee and back problems O.O
If you stop and think about it, Orlando is now a playoff team next year... instead of the 21 games they won last year with T-Mac. Good deal.
Rockets were a playoff team last year, yet they are giving up 3/5 starters and the person who LEAD them to that spot in the first place. I'm not saying that they can't do good on this trade... but I could imagine Houston getting worse while I can't imagine orlando getting worse.
I hope Somehow Houston picks up D-Fish from free agency.

Re: T-Mac for Francis
I hate Francis with a passion, because when the Grizzlies drafted him he didnt want to play for us, like he was a superstar at the rookie level.
Im like, you just got drafted, be f****** thankful your not sitting on your ass at home, or playing for the Clippers.

But really, he was too good for the Grizzlies, hahaha....
Tmac is awesome... I just hope he can work in well with Yao. Time will tell I guess.

Hahahahahaha.......shutup.
The Grizzlies blew their chance when they drafted Reeves instead of Carter...awesome choice they made on that one, i mean, Reeves totally turned out to be the franchise player they wanted, oh, wait, no he didnt, he continued to suck until he retired.
*Thumbs up*
Awesome choice Grizzlies staff!!

Teams are so desperate to get a big man that they don't care if 95% of big men who enter the draft are garbage.

Well at least they won a NBA championship. Maybe he's a good luck charm?

Re: T-Mac for Francis
Big Country was a great choice for them. If he didn't end up sucking, he would have been great, haha.
