Default The DS carts.

I was just browsing around IGN when I noticed this picture of the DS cartridges.

I noticed they look amazingly similar to certain types of SD and SmartMedia cards and the like. I wonder if there is any chance Nintendo will make it so it would be able to read them...that could open up a whole slew of possibilites. For instance, watching MPEG movies or maybe even listening to music. It would compete more directly with the PSP if I did something simple like that. But I disgress, Nintendo has never been about things like that anyways, and it would REALLY shock me if they did something like that.

Those look cool, I like the little colored Nintendo sticker on them. It appears to be quite thin.

i hread it would use a form of memory card. but i gartentee you its not an SD card.

with nintendo being always so scared of piracy. theres no way in hell they'd use a format that is so easily plugged into a PC and play games off of.

thoes things? lol. its basically for gets so thier parents can shut them up during car rides.

besides that, no one else is going to pay $20 a pop for a cartoon on a handheld.

Hopfully sony is smart enought to let vids play off the memory card the PSP can use, which i think they will be. so you can just put it on there from your computer. songs too.

Yes, and the GBA is so protected (and now the 'Cube since the PSO exploit works wonders)

nothing is pirate proof. nintendo tho is very anal about it. and they would never put it on something like an SD card that plugs directly into the computer like that.

Yeah. I was just joking and poking harmless fun at Nintendo...where are the people to blow my comment out of proportion?

They should have chosen something that can store more data. I sincerely am tired of Nintendo always having less storage capacity than other companies. The games, however, look dang good.
